da 888casino： Chelsea captain John Terry has refused to rule-out a switch to China this summer, when his deal at Stamford Bridge expires, but has admitted it’s his preference to remain with the West London side.
da wazamba： Veteran defender Terry has struggled for first-team opportunities with Antonio Conte’s side this season after penning a one-year deal last summer and is widely expected to move on at the end of the season, with the Far East a likely destination.
When asked about the possibility of moving to China when appearing on an ITV show, the skipper, quoted by The Sun, said:
“I’m not sure. For me, I want to stay at Chelsea.”
Terry has remained loyal to Chelsea throughout his career but also admitted that reported interest from Manchester City had previously helped him to negotiate a new deal, as he said:
“I spoke to Roman [Abramovich] at the time and told him I want to stay. Manchester City made an offer. It gives you bargaining power to go in and renegotiate a contract.”
Whilst he remains a fan-favourite at Stamford Bridge, the 36-year-old has made just ten first-team appearances this season and is unlikely to stay on. However, there is no guarantee he will continue with his playing career.
